6 MORE Sleeps

Hello Moms, a genius friend of mine lent me her idea that before something big they would tell their daughters how many more nights of sleep they would have to endure before the BIG DAY! So, there are 6 more sleeps until MOPS starts Tuesday, September 24th! 

My family has been through some big changes, one of which is that we have one child in Kindergarten. With this has brought a word I have never wanted uttered in our house: SCHEDULE... ugh. With this change that I will continually get used to over the next 20 years, I do see a positive to fitting in "me time" with MOPS.

For half a meeting, you might feel selfish until you realize your kids are safe in childcare and you haven't been paged to rescue them as you had planned on the night before. This fall will be my 6th year at MOPS and I am past the guilt! My pom poms are out and I am doing the happy dance as I return for friendship, food, fun, crafts, advice, speakers and all of this without interruption from my 3 God-given beauties! This year's theme is A Beautiful Mess. I am overly excited to jump into all that God has for me. I pray He stretches and grows me.

Summer expires in a month!?!

Hello Ladies! Hope everyone is enjoying their summer. I feel as though I want to buy a box of Kleenex when thinking we have one month till school starts! Our family has been super busy and it continues through the end of August, just in time to spit us out the night before my son starts his first day of Kindergarten! With fun summer to do's and have to's I have noticed I miss MOPS, the break from my kids, connection with other moms and time to grow myself. I pray God will open doors for you to come to MOPS this coming year! Our new theme is A Beautiful Mess. What a visual for how a lot of us feel daily, and maybe even in many areas of our lives hourly. Our marriages, parenting, houses and yes, even ourselves take turns in their beauty and messiness. The important thing is to realize you are not alone!

MOPS starts TOMORROW!!!

Well, we are one day out from our first meeting and I am
extremely eager to get back to my MOPS routine! 

Meetings will start Tuesday at 9am-11:15am, but childcare check in is at 8:45. Please, allow a little extra time if you are getting a new little one is adjusted. During our first time together, we are going to update you on many things and spend time crafting. 

If this is your first time at our group or MOPS all together welcome. 

You don't know how excited we are to see new faces, that will become friends in the crowd!

Happy Labor Day Weekend!

Most of us have little kiddos starting or returning to school on the 4th. This can bring many emotions to the forefront! I have 2 preschoolers starting and I am prepared to bring Kleenex, but a little part of me has been able to see the season of JOY this will bring to my kids. As you begin a schedule of earlier bedtimes and earlier alarms, I pray God gives you JOY so that you can spread it to your little ones! 

Set the tone and see what a difference it makes!

Lazy Lunches

I can't believe we are already half way through our summer break! It seems the weather is finally getting the hint too! I have enjoyed seeing you at Bella Vista on Tuesdays. Anyone new checking us out feel free to join us from 11:30-1:30. We are changing it up a bit this week with a park near Edgefield, Donald L Robertson City Park!   The park features activities for all ages including a playground with toys for young and older children, basketball court, an open field area for soccer and baseball, and a nature trial that wonders through the entire park including our newly created wetland area. *There are bathrooms which is a huge benefit and if the sun comes out to play well there is shade!
